Support our challenge
Thank you for supporting the WWF Cape Wrath challenge. Our team will be trekking over 50km on demanding terrain that will test their limits. But as a group, and with your support, we have the power to make a difference, to raise awareness and raise money to fight for our world.
Help us reach our group target of £500,000
Why we must act
The recent COP26 climate summit highlighted that not enough is being done to deliver the Paris Agreement goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C. We know we need to act now.
Climate change and the loss of nature are the biggest environmental crises of our time – and we are the last generation that can stop their most devastating impacts. The choices we make each day as individuals and businesses make a profound difference to the health and future of our precious planet.
Our challenge takes place across the Scottish coast and islands, where you will witness some of the more beautiful scenery and wildlife the UK has to offer. Cape Wrath is one of Britain’s iconic cornerstones where the north and west coasts of Scotland meet. This is where the Atlantic Puffin and other beautiful birds are in peril due to overfishing, volatile weather events due to climate change, and global warming threatening the extinction of their main source of food, the sandeel.
